I’ve been trying to find the time to write about this great project. Andrew Morehart is Share-a-tories and has most recently released a group of songs called Empty Figures. He comes to us via Los Angeles, Columbus, Massachusetts and probably outer space also.
I had the immense pleasure of meeting Andrew this last week as he also happens to play drums for favorite experimental crooner Mutual Benefit. His love for music and being a part of it was evident even in the few moments we got to spend together, and it makes perfect sense that he fits so well under the Kassette Klub “do cool stuff and be kind to each other” motto.
Below are some of my favorites off the album, but you really should go listen for yourself as no one song sounds like the next, which is nothing but a credit to his creativity and exciting unique attitude toward making music. I’ll let his description of inspirations do the rest of the talking:
